You’ve got the passion for painting, but are struggling to make your paintings sing!
What you need is somebody to clearly show you how to create good compositions, the technique to paint them and the confidence to enjoy every minute.
And that, my friend, is what I love to do!

“let me encourage you to find your courage, step over your fear and give you the tools to let your art sing” Róisín
I’ve created a concentrated and clearly structured course held over three days that focuses on painting technique, finding inspiration and overcoming the barriers to creativity.
Together we will explore
How to use a limited palette
Understanding Colour theory
Really getting to grips with tonal value
The six stage technique involved in painting a painting from start to finish.
Fundamentals of good composition
Applying paint – brush & palette knife
Includes painting demonstrations and practical hands-on exercises to let you get some paint under your nails.
When it comes to creativity we are all delicate flowers. We can easily be discouraged by a thoughtless remark or our own inner critic. Let me help you learn how to nurture the root of your passion..your creativity and overcome barriers both practical and internal to progressing. We will also take time figure out how you can bring balance to your creative life, find new inspiration and sustain it over time.
And I will be sharing with you the three fundamental shifts in thinking that will take your work to the next level.
“Very clear & easy to listen to. She knows her subject inside out & her passion for painting is contagious.” Sharon Wells

Sometimes people who do a workshop like this may feel a little apprehensive beforehand. Will everyone else be more experienced, confident, talented than me? Believe me, almost everyone feels a bit (or a lot) like this.
Can I just say that it really doesn’t matter where everyone else is at. The aim of the workshop is to bring you from where you are now (which is different for each person) to the next step. The plan is for you to learn some new technique and gain some understanding about painting and also to learn a bit more about yourself. What’s stopping you from progressing and what you can do about that.
There’s a lot to learn over the three days but if you come away fired up to creatively ‘do what you can with what you’ve got’ then I’ll be a happy woman.
