Summer round up
I’m back home from a few weeks in the west of Ireland. Lots of sleep, music, good food and family.
No painting but I did manage to take loads of reference photos. Some images for landscape paintings, not sure exactly when I will get time for them but it’s a start. Also, we (7 of us and a dog!) were invited to lunch to the beautiful home of some friends overlooking the Shannon estuary and I took lots of photos while there.
But that was about as much work as I did and I am feeling all the better for it. I’m easing back into a more disciplined approach today and will start back properly on Monday.
The shows in Kerry are doing well with 14 paintings already sold and there’s been lots of great press too.
My great friends at the Irish Country Magazine are running a competition to win the painting below.
Raindrops keep falling on my head 20x20cm framed €575
Big thanks to Irish Tatler Man too for the great mention
And to the Irish Examiner for this great piece
I will be announcing the winner of the antique fork print next week. So if you haven’t entered there’s still a few days.
This one is open to all my friends from abroad by the way.
