The wellie boots do seem to touch a note with people and I think they’re fun!

a cardboard box of paintings
I mentioned the other day about the changes going on at the Killarney Art Gallery down in Kerry. Well, here are some photos of my paintings in their new gallery up on Aghadoe heights. Five of the smaller ones have sold already. Those remaining are the one with the fives wellies and the four larger ones. (below)
The old gallery is still in the centre of Killarney town and is open, however it is now on just on one floor.[singlepic id=1320 w=500 h=350 float=] [singlepic id=1319 w=500 h=350 float=] [singlepic id=1321 w=400 h=500 float=]
The Aghadoe gallery is stunning and the beauty of the building is only surpassed by the view.[singlepic id=1323 w=500 h=300 float=]
Did I ever tell you that the owner Declan Mulvaney is responsible for putting my art career on the road? When I first visited him a few years back with a cardboard box of small paintings under my arm he terrified me by saying nothing for about 30 minutes. But he then went about persuading me to paint bigger. I was only a wet weekend at it and was comfortable with the small painting format so I took some persuading. It was just the encouragement and the kick up the rear that I needed and I really haven’t looked back since. Thanks Dec![singlepic id=1322 w=500 h=350 float=]
