I think I was channeling Liz Taylor when I painted this. It wasn’t long after she passed and suddenly there she was in the painting. Just a little weird eh?

OK so meet Johnny.

A cute and scruffy little friend of Maggie’s, who comes to stay from time to time.

But Johnny has a shameful secret. Yes, I know it’s hard to believe of such a cute face but it’s true.

Johnny has a habit and what’s worse, he’s willing to steal for it.

Exhibit A – The guilty face!

Exhit B – The remains of the said chewing gum!

We’re doing all we can for him, but I’m not sure it’s working.

Does this dog look like he doesn’t want the chewing gum to you?

  • I like the channeled Liz. Not all that weird. It was sad when she died for sure, because I thought she was too young and had been suffering for too much of her life. She was brave about AIDS. And she was a hell of an actress.

Love the strange dog. My dog ate all of the chocolate Easter eggs one year, including the foil wrappers. Not good as there were 400 eggs.
She was very sick and lived to tell the tale.

    Love the painting. Very lovely.
    XO Barbara
