McWilliams Family Wellies
This is a departure from the norm in that it is not a square. It’s 60x90cm, which fits the row of wellie’s well I think. The McWilliam’s commissioned the painting as a kind of family portrait to represent their five children. Sweet eh? It has gone to it’s new home and I hope it will be a kindly presence there and I nice reminder of little feet.

Last day of big school[singlepic id=1228 w=400 h=550 float=]
My daughter finished 8 years of primary school yesterday. I’ve got to know her classmates as they’ve grown and developed over the years and I have to say (no really, I do) they are the most wonderful bunch of middle sized human beings you might have the pleasure to meet. I’m sad they won’t all be in my life as much from now on but I look forward to the great people they will turn out to be.
And of course my eldest daughter is the jewel in the crown!
P.S I know I’m a day late with this post. I have had to concede defeat and not paint today too as there’s just too much to do this week in my non painting life. But it’ll all sort itself out though so I’m not stressing !
