somerset house revisited

I wish I had actually revisited the house in London but I loved painting this scene the first time and so it was a pleasure to paint it again. At the time, I had toyed with the idea of painting a chair instead of the bench that I had in the first painting. This time I went with the chair. The chair seen here was from another room in the gallery.

Maggie has her toes crossed

The weather is gorgeous here at the moment. It feels like summer already. It was 22 degrees yesterday and it’s set to continue or even get a little warmer. Every now and then we get a crackin Easter, fingers crossed this year will be one of them.

    • Hi Jerry, How are you? For these big paintings I mainly use two palette knifes. When I do use a brush it’s a short flat type with a long handle. :-)

  • I’ve been enjoying all your interior paintings! They are lovely with your gorgeous colors and juicy paint!

Maggie looks very comfortable with the warmth of the sun! :)
