1790 elbow chair & Iain Archer kitchen gig tonight

1790 elbow chair

This chair sits in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and doesn’t it just know it! She is elegant, fine, stronger than she looks and just a little bit haughty. The pictures behind and the table come from a different part of the museum but are from the same period.

Iain Archer kitchen gig tonight

I almost forgot to blog this morning as we’ve been busy changing beds and washing floors in advance of tonight’s “kitchen gig” with Iain Archer.

We’re pretty much sorted and looking forward to friends (and some strangers) coming from far and wide for what I know will be an incredible night.

We’ve had a couple of cancellations so if you’d like to come or bring a friend just drop me a line. If you’re coming tonight it’s 8pm, bring something to drink for yourself and if you need directions text or email me.

And by the way the Monday night gig at The Doorway Gallery still has some room too but is filling up fast.

  • Reading this I think you’re right in the middle
of the party now, or it may be over because
it’s midnight where you are, and the cats are just agitating for supper here.

Have fun. Glorious painting. Absolutely love your work. That chair is lucky. And that’s coming from a chair freak. (My friends are always yelling “No” at me when I see a chair by the side of the road.)
