dancing lying down

last night I woke the kids from their beds and bundled them into the car with blankets and cushions and drove up to a small mountain out of the city. A little crazy yes but what fun! The reason was to watch the Perseid meteor shower (shooting stars to you and me).

So there we we’re lying in a field in the dark, covered in blankets, eating rice krispie cakes and watching the most amazing night sky spectacular unfold above us.  Definitely my best moment of the summer yet.

as for dancing lying down? well we had to keep warm right?

the road to Moy

Not to be confused with the Moy village in Co. Tryone, this Moy is in Clare between Lahinch and Miltown Malbay. I’m settling back into the painting again begining to find my mojo. Working on bigger work mostly but keeping up the small ones too.
