I’m finally lost for words!
Ok, well not completely! Saturday night was the first of two previews of the show before the paintings head to Kerry. It’s genuinely difficult to know what to say. It’s my first show and in some ways it was a little like coming out of the closet.[singlepic id=384 w=300 h=500 float=]
The background to this is that there are more artists and creative types in my family than you can shake a stick at and those that aren’t arty themselves know a lot about it. That goes for many of my friends too. So presenting this show to them was to say the least a little scary. That said, it was a fantastic night and I’m still coasting on a high. Such a buzz! And 8 paintings sold.
Here are some photos of the evening.[nggallery id=9]
If you missed the night and are close by, there’s a last chance to see the paintings on Wednesday morning 10.30 -12.30 at a coffee morning in aid of the charity Across in Ireland here at my home.

Although, you’re not really suppose to see the images for the show, you can see a glimpse of some of them in the photos above. Kitty cat noir is a smaller painting in the same series as the it’s larger brother Pussy Cat Noir that can be seen in some of the preview photos.
