I had an email this morning from painter and follower Pat Cotterill who is spending a few months in China at the moment. She tells me that although the Chinese censors won’t allow her to view most of the art blogs she follows, ( facebook, twitter, flickr etc are all off limits) it seems she can view my site without difficulty.
So, this got me thinking. Is there something about my art that appeals to the People’s Republic of China’s officialdom? Maybe they liked my “Red” Chair!
I like to think that there’s a mid ranking civil servant somewhere in a tiny office in a building the size of Dublin who lives for art. Every day at lunchtime he locks the door and spends an hour clearing artist websites for view!
Here’s today’s offering
Funky (as opposed to Red) chair 6×6 inch oil on gesso bord.
