I probably should have used some creative licence here as that apple slice looks like it’s been hanging around under a lamp for the hour or so that it has.

More of an impasso treatment here. Already doubting the wisdom of this blog. Could be painting now!

So here we are.

This is my first post and one of my first of these small paintings in oil. I’m using water mixable oils as I paint in my kitchen and the turps fumes were killing us all.
