finding inspiration
Have you come across this guy? Scott Schumann is The Sartorialist and I would describe him somewhere between fashion photographer and people watcher. In his blog he stops people on the streets of New York, Milan whatever. Of course when I say “people” that’d be cool people who look fantastic without having to take a breath. (No I’m not bitter!)
What I love about this short clip is that it somehow catches the creative process in a way that I can relate to. For him the focus of that creative passion is real fashion and photography but it could be anything. Poetry, art, music, mug collecting! It can be all of your life or just part of it. What is it for you?
You can see it here if it doesn’t show below

I love the painting, and the Sartorialist. I’ve seen his blog before and enjoy it a lot. His description of how he gets inspired could apply to any art form — you’re right.
I am just amazed at and enthralled by your work.
Gorgeous. Good luck with the shows. I’m sure you’ll have a splendid time.
