Before the Party & Kilruddery House
Killruddery House
I came across a photo of an interior that reminded me of a visit I made with my Dad to Killruddery House. My sister was staying with the family for a week and we went to pick her up. Killruddery house is only about 5 minutes down the road from where I now live with my own family. It is a beautiful estate home and something about the photo reminded me of a room I think I might have waited in.
Anyway this painting is of a small detail from a slightly larger painting that I will post later on. There’s something expectant about an empty chair isn’t there? I love them.
